PG Announces Safe Home and Reinforces Commitment to Ensuring Household Safety Through Education

CINCINNATI–(BUSINESS WIRE)– The Procter Gamble Company (NYS: PG) announced today its new outreach effort, Safe Home, designed to offer consumers education and access to resources to help ensure a safe home environment.
“A safe home is a shared responsibility and PG would like to take the opportunity to emphasize the importance of creating a safe home environment and help out by giving parents access to resources and tools to help them do so,” says Lee Bansil, PhD. “At PG, the safety and well-being of families using our products is our highest priority.”
The hub of the Safe Home program will be available on PG’s “Homemade Simple” website. Consumers can access general home safety tips, along with specific information about how to keep various areas of the home including the bathroom, kitchen and laundry room safe and secure. Videos and instructions will be available on how to properly use and store various household and fabric care products.
Additionally, PG is offering safety latches as an increased measure to further safe-proof cabinets and drawers where household and fabric care products are stored. These will be available to consumers via HomeMadeSimple.com/safehome.
