Kids ‘N’ Stuff Children’s Museum and State Farm are hosting a Safety Awareness Day on Sunday, May 6th from 1-3 pm. The Museum will be open with the usual fun to be had, along with much, much more. In the parking area behind the Museum there will be the Albion Department of Public Safety’s Smoke House where kids and adults can learn what to do in case of a fire in their house. Mark Putvin State Farm of Albion will also be handing out free smoke alarms to the first 100 families to tour the Smoke House.

During the afternoon, families will also be able to experience a Fire Truck from Sheridan Township, a Michigan State Police car, and learn about boater safety with the Calhoun County Sheriff’s department. Adults will have the opportunity to talk with volunteers from Bronson Battle Creek at their Care-A-Van. The American Red Cross will be on site to give out information regarding their programs for both kids and adults. Dean Transportation will have a school bus and be talking about the importance of safety on the school bus and while getting on or off the bus.

Learning is fun at Kids ‘N’ Stuff Children’s Museum! Kids will enjoy their trip to our grocery store where they can shop, be the cashier, be the bagger, or stock those shelves. During their trip they can count money, make change, use coupons, and try to plan a well balanced meal. Kids will be having so much fun that they don’t even realize that they are learning at the same time.

Kids ‘N’ Stuff Children’s Museum offers an interactive experience for you and your children. The kids will have fun while reinforcing everyday skills like reading and math. The messy art room is open during regular hours and offers kids an opportunity to create their own masterpiece. Kids can take their project home with them or leave it to display at the museum. A stop by the climbing wall will wear off some energy as children check out their skills at becoming a rock climber. Every area within the museum offers a new learning experience for the children in your life.

Kids ‘N’ Stuff Children’s Museum hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday 10 am – 4 pm, and Thursday 1 pm – 7 pm. We are located at 301 S. Superior St. in Albion.
